Simpson Bay Bridge and Axxess Marine Opening Times Change

The St Maarten Simpson Bay Lagoon Authority has decided to temporarily reduce bridge opening times to twice daily, under the current national emergency conditions related to the coronavirus. The bridge will open at 0900hrs for inbound and outbound traffic, and again at 1400hrs. The Causeway Bridge opening will be synchronized based on these Simpson Bay Bridge openings. Crew can confirm by calling the VHF-12 channel.
Meanwhile, the Axxess Marine office at IGY marina, Isle Del Sol, remains temporarily closed until further notice, but the team remain on standby to offer remote assistance or emergency support for all clients.
