M/Y Siren AX100 DUO LTE Upgrade

M/Y Siren, a 73m superyacht originally built in 2008, which underwent a refit in 2013, recently approached us regarding an upgrade on their LTE system. The boat’s existing LTE router was a Pepwave HD4 and perfectly suited to the job, but our team quickly identified that the system was being let down by the antennas and inadequate cabling. A further challenge was to accommodate the existing set up which included pre-installed antenna brackets in the deck. Two AX100 DUO antennas were installed and worked well with the existing stainless steel mounting brackets, and together with the upgraded LMR 400 cabling delivered much improved results for crew and guests to enjoy.
