Greenpeace Esperanza – AX antennas help get the message across

When we embarked upon a project with Greenpeace to help upgrade their cellular service on Esperanza, it was clear that their existing antennas could benefit from an upgrade using our AX 100 duo antennas. Esperanza began her voyage in the harsh waters of the North Sea before heading to the Azores, en route to the Caribbean. During a research project in the North Atlantic waters off Ilha do Pico in the Azores, Esperanza’s crew reported LTE connectivity at an impressive 85Km from shore, testament to the impressive performance of these high gain antennas.
