St Maarten Hurricane Irma Relief

By now we have all had a chance to see images and video of the devastation and loss that our friends and families have experienced in St Maarten, St Barths, Antigua and Barbuda during Hurricane Irma. The destruction and wreckage is mind boggling. It's a time to reflect on the people on these islands who are there to support our industry when the yachting season returns each winter. The provisioning offices and staff, dock masters and crew, restaurants, taxis, varnishers and their families - without a doubt, their personal lives have been greatly changed in the last 48 hours.

As our Caribbean office is based in St Maarten, Axxess Marine has started an emergency relief fund to help those affected by this disaster. Your contribution will be presented directly to the St Maarten Red Cross.

Further, in light of these recent events, now all proceeds from the Axxess Marine Invitational Ride will be donated to relief aide for the Caribbean.

The Caribbean people are strong and resilient and we sincerely hope these beautiful islands can rebuild and recover as soon as possible.

We hope communities next in line of Hurricane Irma and possibly pending Hurricane Jose stay safe and sustain minimal damage.
